MARINE LIMITED WARRANTY – Fresh Water Pump
Artis Products warrants its MARINE fresh water pump to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal usage and extends to the original owner a Two-Year Limited Product Warranty. This warranty is in effect from the date of manufacture for a period of two (2) years or two (2) years of use with proof of purchase, not to exceed two (2) years.
The limited warranty will not apply to pumps that were improperly installed, misapplied or are incompatible with components not manufactured by Artis Products. Pump failure due to foreign debris is not covered under the terms of this limited warranty. Artis Products will not warrant any pump that is physically damaged or altered outside the Artis Products factory.
Artis Products obligation under this limited warranty policy is limited to the repair or replacement of the pump. Pumps found not defective (under the terms of this limited warranty) are subject to payment by the returnee for the testing and packaging of a “Tested Good” unit. Artis Products is not responsible nor will it reimburse for labor necessary to remove and reinstall a pump that “Tested Good”. Warranty returns will be shipped on a standard freight allowed basis. Artis Products reserves the right to choose the method of transportation.
This limited warranty is in lieu of all warranties, expressed or implied, and no other person is authorized to give any other warranty or assume obligation or liability on Artis Products behalf. Artis Products shall not be liable for any labor, damage or other expense, nor shall Artis Products be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages of any kind incurred by the use or sale of any defective product or part.
OEM RETURN PROCEDURE
Before returning any product to Artis Products, Call-Fax-Email Customer Service for an authorization number. Place all corresponding claims inside the shipping package, write the RGA number on the outside of the box, include name, address and phone number, then return to Arterra Distribution for evaluation. Local OEM’s warranty product will be picked up by your local Sales Representative. DO NOT use packaging peanuts or shredded paper to package pump.
CONSUMER WARRANTY RETURN POLICY
Warranty claims may be resolved by an authorized dealer service center, or WFCO/Artis Products service center. Before returning any defective product, an RGA number is required. An RGA number can be acquired by completing the Warranty Information Fax Sheet and the Pump Troubleshooting Form. Once completed, email the forms to firstname.lastname@example.org or fax them to the Warranty Department at (574)-294-8698. Returns are to be shipped with charges pre-paid. WFCO/Artis will not be responsible for freight damage incurred during shipping to a service center. Package the pump carefully and include a copy of both forms in the shipping carton. DO NOT use shredded paper or packing peanuts as these materials may affect testing of the pump.
